Kolam is a highly complex interlaced ancient mathematical ritualistic floor art from Tamil Nadu, India. Practiced twice daily, the application of Sikku- or Pulli (dots) Kolam on the threshold of the house is traditionally done only by women. It signifies well-being, wealth and allows auspicious energy of divinity to enter the home.
The Sikku-Kolam typeface is available in both Upper and lower case, it has standard ligatures and alternates for capital letters that are more ornate. It has a range of diacritics to support Western and Southern European, Western and Central Asian languages such as Azerbaijani, Turkish, Tatar and Kazakh.
